Perdy
Meet Perdy
Perdy is a friendly mare who is now ready to rehome as a non ridden companion. Due to mild lameness when she was brought in to work, she cannot be ridden or driven. She does, however, enjoy a bit of pampering. Perdy currently lives out 24/7 and will need to have her grazing restricted as she is prone to weight gain, so she would suit a home with equines on the same management. She could also be stabled part time as part of a routine if needed and could learn to stay on her own if another horse was ridden.
Important stuff
Perdy can never be ridden or driven.
All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Perdy is not suitable to be worked.
History
Perdy's mother was brought into Glenda Spooner Farm in January 2017 as part of a group of mares and foals, all in poor condition. Perdy was born in June 2017 at our farm. Once she was old enough she was successfully rehomed and only returned when circumstances changed.
