Meet Mitchelcombe Elf

Elf is ready to find a home as a non ridden companion. Being an older lady she likes to have a good routine and enjoys a little pampering. She currently lives out 24/7 and does prefer this but could be stabled for short periods if she can see her equine friend and is introduced to this gradually. Elf is prone to weight gain so we would be looking for her to live with ponies on the same restricted grazing management. Elf is good to handle with all of her basic tasks and could also go for walks in hand if another pony went with her. She may take a little time to settle in to a new routine so someone who understands this would be perfect.

Important stuff

Mitchelcombe Elf can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Mitchelcombe Elf is not suitable to be worked.

History

Elf came into our care in October 2021, following a call for help from her owner. Elf was rehomed for a short time but is now looking for a longer term home where she can enjoy her later years.
