Leonard
Meet Leonard
Leonard is ready to be rehomed as a companion. He is a lovely, bright boy who has an insecure nature so thrives on consistency from his handler and his environment. Leonard has been rehomed before and since his return to the centre, he has continued some basic groundwork, which has really helped with his confidence. We are not looking for a ridden home at present, however as Leonard is really clever and enjoys learning, we are looking for a rehomer who will enjoy spending time with him and building a relationship. Leonard does need an experienced, confident handler who ensures that his boundaries are consistent and someone used to bigger horses. He currently lives out on restricted grazing with other geldings but will happily stable part time as part of a routine.
Important stuff
Leonard can never be ridden or driven.
All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Leonard is not suitable to be worked.
History
Leonard was born at Hall Farm on 14th March 2014. His mother came to us from a welfare situation.
