Opal
Meet Opal
Opal is a very friendly mare who is looking for a home as a non-ridden companion. Opal is good to handle and always comes over for a fuss and a cuddle. She is gentle in the field with other ponies and would make a great companion. She came from a mixed herd so she could potentially live with a suitable gelding if needed. Opal could stable part time in a quiet environment and could, over a good period of time, learn to stay on her own.
Important stuff
Opal can never be ridden or driven.
All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Opal is not suitable to be worked.
History
Opal came in to Glenda Spooner Farm in August 2020 with several other mares and foals.
