Meet Ariana

Ariana is a very striking skewbald mare who certainly knows how pretty she is. Ariana is a sweetheart who enjoys lots of attention from her groom who has a real soft spot for her. She is a cracking mare with so much potential in the right home. Ariana is being rehomed as a project pony with the aim of her being backed to ride as a child’s second pony. She has taken to groundwork well and is happily lunging and long reining around the farm with no issues. Ariana has also had our dummy rider on board and took it all in her stride, for a young pony she knows her own mind and is very confident about life. Due to her age and needing to be brought on, we are looking for an experienced family with a confident little rider to bring her on and have lots of fun with her. Ariana is the type of pony that requires routine and consistent handling is key to keep her on the right track. She loves a lot of variety to her work, and we think she will make an excellent all round ridden pony for a child. Please note that Ariana has a maximum rider weight limit of 8.5 stone. She must have a home with other good doers on restricted grazing and someone that will continue to work on her weight loss. Ariana will happily stand to be groomed, clipped and for the vet or farrier, she is an all-round great wee mare. History

Ariana came in as part of a large welfare case of cobs in February 2020. The group were found living in an unsuitable environment and were all in poor body condition.
