Meet Dave (Thunder)

Dave, or Thunder as he is affectionately known, is ready for rehoming as a project. Thunder is happy long reining around the farm and lunging with a saddle and bridle on. He has also walked in hand round our local village with other ponies. We are looking for a home with the experience to introduce Thunder to a ridden career. Thunder is excellent to handle and has taken part in our pony grooming sessions with children where he normally falls asleep! It is essential that he has his grazing restricted, and his weight monitored to prevent weight gain and laminitis. Thunder will make a lovely family pony and will have a weight limit of 8 stone.

Important stuff

Dave (Thunder) could be worked in the future.

History

Dave came in to Glenda Spooner Farm in April 2017. He had been abandoned and left to roam in several fields and this resulted in him being extremely obese. You can find out more about Dave's story through the video at the bottom of this page.
