Belwade Farm G&Tea party – a perfect Mother’s Day treat

A must for gin-lovers in Aberdeenshire!

Give your palate a pick-me-up with a selection of classic or flavoured gins from the
award-winning Persie Distillery! Choose your favourite from juniper-forward, citrus,
apple, berries, spices and even eucalyptus.

And, best of all, in the classic tradition of afternoon tea, the clever foodies at
Belwade Bistro have matched each of your gin choices with a greedy plateful of
home-made scones topped with cream and jam, finger sandwiches, and a yummy
range of patisserie.

The ticket price includes a cocktail or mocktail on arrival followed by your choice of
two gins with matching mixers. And don’t worry if you’re abstaining! Just book a
driver’s ticket and we will have your gins and mixers ready for you to take away and
try at home while you enjoy a pot of tea on the day.

Ticket price £30 with every penny going to World Horse Welfare and includes 2 x 50ml gin samples and 2 x 200ml mixers to take away.

Please note that once you book your ticket, one of the Persie team will drop you a
line to check which two gins you’d like to sample on the day or take home. You will
be asked to choose TWO from the following list.

Zesty Citrus Gin
Botanicals: juniper and the fresh zest of limes and oranges
Mixer: full fat tonic, or Sicilian lemonade

Raspberry & Mint Gin Liqueur
Botanicals: hand-picked Perthshire raspberries
Mixer: raspberry and orange soda, or light lemonade

Unbridled Gin (created specially to raise money for World Horse Welfare)
Botanicals: juniper and fresh green apples
Mixer: full fat tonic, or Appletiser

Labrador Gin (created specially to raise money for PADS dog rescue)
Botanicals: juniper and eucalyptus
Mixer: full fat tonic, or light lemonade

Spaniel Gin (created specially to raise money for PADS dog rescue)
Botanicals: nutmeg, cinnamon and anise
Mixer: full fat tonic, ginger ale, or spiced tomato juice

Dachshund Gin Liqueur (created specially to raise money for PADS dog rescue)
Botanicals: the juice of fresh oranges and limes
Mixer: sparkling elderflower pressé, or ginger ale

How do I book an event?
You can book tickets quickly and easily via our event ticket form. You can only make one booking per transaction, so if you’re planning to attend multiple events please book each date separately. 

To book your tickets you’ll just need to select the event date and the number of tickets required. You’ll receive an email confirming the details of your event booking – please keep this safe! You’ll need to either print it out or have it to hand on your phone when you visit to confirm proof of your booking.  

Please note that you can only book a set number of tickets via our website, so if you’re looking to arrange a larger group booking please get in touch with us by emailing bfevents@worldhorsewelfare.org and we’ll be very happy to help.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
Tickets are non-refundable once purchased.  If you cannot attend on the date for which they were purchased (even if this is due to circumstances beyond your control) a refund or exchange cannot be guaranteed. Please contact us to see if you are entitled to a refund or exchange by emailing bfevents@worldhorsewelfare.org.
