Meet Tiptoe Riverdance

River is ready to be rehomed as a non ridden companion following a return from loan. She has settled in to life at the farm and currently lives out 24/7 with a group of mares on restricted grazing to prevent obesity and laminitis. She did, however, originally arrive with two geldings so potentially, could be rehomed with one in the future. River loves nothing better than following you around the field and really enjoys a quiet grooming session where she will happily nod off in the sun. She has been introduced to stabling for short periods so, if needed, this could be part of her routine in a home, although she does prefer to be out. River does need constant company so her ideal home would be with a small group of ponies so that she is never left on her own or with one retired companion who she can share her life with.

Tiptoe Riverdance can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Tiptoe Riverdance is not suitable to be worked.

History

River came to us in October 2017 with 2 other horses due to a welfare concern. She was successfully rehomed and only returned due to a change in her rehomers circumstances
