Potential home found

Meet Frank

Frank is ready to find a new home as a non ridden companion. He is a handsome lad, and has a lovely temperament once he has settled in to somewhere new. Frank is a little bit of a worrier when in new situations and places, and just takes a little time to adjust to change in environment. He thrives on routine, and once he has settled in to a new home, he is the loveliest soul, who just wants to please. He is good to catch, lead, groom, and for the farrier. He can be wary of the vet and isn't keen on being bathed. He gets on well with others, and is currently living out with a group of geldings, but has lived with mares as well. Franks ideal home would be a small quiet yard, where there isn't a lot of constant movement. He needs his grazing restricted and doesn't like being on his own, so needs a home where he will have the company of another equine at all times. If you can offer Frank a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Frank can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Frank is not suitable to be worked.

History

Frank arrived at Penny Farm when he was a foal, after concerns were raised for his welfare.
