Meet Storm Forster (Pandora)

Storm Forster, or Pandora as she is known here at the farm, came into World Horse Welfare as part of a welfare group. She had previously been handled and is a confident friendly pony. Pandora is excellent to catch and is well behaved for our vet and farrier. She is a very sociable pony who likes her friends and loves lots of attention. Her groom refers to her as a “joy and delight to handle” and she is great to handle in every way. Pandora is being rehomed as a companion as, due to poor conformation, she is not suitable to be ridden. Pandora has a history of laminitis, so will need to be kept with friends who are also having their weights closely monitored with restricted grazing. She was a bit of an escape artist in her last home so will need secure fencing to keep her on restricted grazing. Storm Forster (Pandora) can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Storm Forster (Pandora) is not suitable to be worked.

History

Pandora originally came to our Hall Farm, as part of a group of ponies following concerns for their welfare.
