Meet Sol

Handsome Sol is looking for his new home as a non-ridden companion due to having hock arthritis and OCD in both hind legs. Sol is a sweet lad who enjoys the laid-back life living out in the field with his friends and having a snooze in the sun. He is good to do in every way and enjoys coming in for a pamper and a cuddle. He is a good boy for our vet and farrier. Sol will be looking for a gelding only home, with no mares over the fence, as he was castrated late. Due to this Sol has also struggled to settle when living with young and boisterous or dominant geldings, so is looking for a home with older or less dominant geldings. Sol will need his weight monitored throughout the year and fed accordingly as he can gain weight easily. If you think you can offer Sol his forever home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Sol can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Sol is not suitable to be worked.
