Meet Leonard

Leonard is ready to find a home as a youngster for handling with the potential to be backed to ride when he is 4 years old. Leonard is a very friendly, inquisitive little pony, who loves attention. He is good to handle, catch, groom, bath, and for the vet and farrier with a patient approach. He gets on very well with others and is currently turned out with a group of geldings during the day, and comes in at night. He came to us as an unhandled colt and has come on immensely during his time here. Leonard would benefit being in a home who would continue his handling and education. In time, we feel that Leonard would make a lovely little child's pony although we are equally as happy for him to stay as the brilliant companion he already is. He will stay on his own in a stable while another pony is taken out but this would need to be introduced slowly in a new home. He will need his weight watching in the spring and summer months as he gets older, so a home with equines of similar needs would be ideal. We estimate that Leonard will mature at approx 11.3/12HH. If you can offer Leonard a home, please apply online.
