Meet Miracle Mildred

Mildred is ready to rehome as a youngster for handling. Mildred does pace, so her suitability as a ridden pony would need to be assessed once she has grown and matured at around 4 years old. Mildred was hand reared at Penny Farm after she lost her mum at just a week old. She is quite a placid pony in general but being young she still has lots to learn so would benefit from being in a home with an experienced handler who is used to young horses. She is very good to catch, handle, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. She is currently living out with shelter within a group of mares but will happily come into a stable to be groomed. Mildred requires a face mask for her eyes in the spring/summer months which she is more than happy to wear. She gets on very well with others and would benefit from being with an older horses/pony that she can learn from. She doesn't like being on her own, so will need another equine friend for company at all times. We estimate that Mildred will mature at around 13.2/3HH. If you can offer Mildred a home, please apply online.
