Barney is now looking for his new home as a companion. Barney is a lovely gelding who has settled in well at farm. He is very good to catch, groom and lead in hand. He can stable part time and could live with mares or geldings. Barney is looking for a home where his companions would be similar in size to him and who will be on restricted grazing to prevent obesity and laminitis.

Barney can never be ridden or driven.
All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Barney is not suitable to be worked.
History
Barney came into the centre as part of a welfare group, he was overweight with sharp teeth and needed attention from the farrier.
