Meet Shy in the Sky (Bonnie)

Lovely Bonnie is looking for a home as a non-ridden companion. When Bonnie first arrived, she was a little unsettled and relied a lot on her handler for confidence. Bonnie also came in with feather mites, causing her legs to be quite sore and itchy, which understandably made her reluctant for us to touch them. Since then, she has been treated for the mites and her groom has worked hard to build up her confidence meaning she is now a lot more settled and enjoys coming in for a groom. Bonnie will, however, need a competent handler, as at times she can still be wary of having her feathers touched or treated on her back legs. She is good to catch, with a treat or two, and is well behaved for our vet, farrier and dentist. Bonnie does prefer the company of friends, but if introduced slowly, she may be able to be left alone for a short period of time. As she is a good doer, she will need to go to a home with horses that are also on restricted grazing. Bonnie is a looking for a companion home as due to a confirmational issue she cannot be ridden. If you think Bonnie would be the perfect addition to your herd, we would love to hear from you.
