Meet Angel

After being rehomed for many years, lovely mare Angel is now looking for a new home as a companion. Angel is a very sweet mare who thrives on the company of her horse and human friends. She is good to handle and her current routine is out overnight and in during the day. We would be looking for a home where she isn’t left alone. Angel has Equine Metabolic Syndrome (EMS), so it is essential that she has correct management for this, ideally with minimal grazing and access to hay at all times with other ponies on the same management.

Important stuff

Angel can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Angel is not suitable to be worked.

History

Angel came into our care after being abandoned with a group of mares and geldings. Angel was in poor condition and unhandled when she arrived with us in 2009 but was successfully rehomed for many years.
