Meet Coeddyffryn Nero (Max)

Coeddyffryn Nero (Max) is a gentle boy, looking for a quiet non ridden companion home. He is good to handle and currently lives out 24/7. He will need his grazing restricting particularly in Spring and Summer to manage his weight but he could be stabled part time if this was part of a routine in a home. Max would need to have constant company in the field and be able to see his equine friends if stabled as he doesn't do well on his own. He is a loveable friendly chap who enjoys a bit of a pamper and would make a lovely addition to someone looking for a bigger, gentle companion to a horse needing the same grazing management. IMPORTANT NOTE- Max currently wears front shoes because his feet bruise easily on rough or hard ground. He will need to be rehomed with shoes on and may have to continue to wear these dependent on his hoof quality and comfort. This would be discussed as part of the rehoming process.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Coeddyffryn Nero (Max) is not suitable to be worked.

History

Max came in to the farm with his mother in early 2023 due to his owner's ill health.
