Meet Black Beauty (Betsy)

Bonny Betsy is a cracking micro cob that is ready to go off to a new home as a lead rein pony. Although she is only 12.3HH she has a massive character and is a delight to handle and spend time with. Betsy had her hind limb suspensory’s medicated and her movement has greatly improved following veterinary treatment. She was backed to ride out in her last loan home and was a fantastic lead rein pony. Betsy had lots of fun with her little jockey and was much loved; she was returned to Belwade as she was sadly outgrown and is now looking for her next family to spoil her rotten. She knows her job as a lead rein pony well and will look after a little jockey; she can be forward going but is very safe and sensible. Betsy has been to some fun shows in her last home where she did some lead rein classes as well as fancy dress, in true Betsy style she took it all in her stride and loved getting out and about. She has a very gentle and calm temperament and is an all-round great little family pony. She is looking for a home as a lead rein pony as she wasn’t confident off the lead rein and has a maximum weight limit of seven stone. Betsy is just a delight of a pony and behaves well for the vet or farrier. She is a typical cob and gains weight extremely easily so must be kept on restricted grazing with other good doers. Betsy is happy to live out full time and mixes well with mares and geldings. This little mare is a type hard to find and we are sure that the first family to come and meet her will fall in love with her as she is a bit of a farm favourite. If you think your child would be a good match for Betsy please apply online.
