Meet Overjoyed (Brook)

Brook is ready to rehome as a non ridden companion. She is a lovely mare, who deserves to find a home where she will be spoilt and pampered. She prefers a one to one setting, so her ideal home would be a private yard, where she won't be surrounded by a lot of people at the same time. She is very good to groom, handle, bath, and for the vet and farrier. Brook gets on well with others, but can some times pull a face. She will happily mix in a herd or with just one other horse, but she doesn't like being on her own, so it is important that she has the company of another equine at all times. Brook can be a good doer through the summer months dependant on the grazing, so may need her weight watching at times. Brook is such a lovely horse and we would love for her to find her forever home to live out the rest of her days. If you can offer Brook a home, please apply online.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Overjoyed (Brook) is not suitable to be worked.

History

Brook came into Penny Farm after she was found living in unsuitable conditions. She was also very underweight.
