Meet Gunner

Gunner is a super friendly boy, who is always first to come and say hello in the field. He is ready to find a new home as a companion. Gunner was brought into the centre as he was found straying on the road; he was underweight, fully clipped and had a set of shoes on. Gunner is good for all his basic handling, but as he is still young he needs a handler who will continue to ensure he gets a consistent education. He will stable part time if needed. Due to only recently being castrated he will need to live with other geldings. Gunner is a very sweet boy with all of his companions and wants to be friends with everyone. He does really enjoy a play so another playful companion would be great. Gunner is still growing and currently doesn’t require restricted grazing.

Important stuff

Gunner can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Gunner is not suitable to be worked.

History

Gunner was found straying on the road. He was underweight and clipped with severe rain scald.
