Summer is ready to find a new home as a non ridden companion due to having a heart murmur. She is a lovely, bright little pony, with an inquisitive character. She will need restricted grazing in the summer due to being quite a good doer. She would be best suited to a home of ponies with similar needs as she doesn't like being left on her own. She is good to catch, handle, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. Summer gets on well with others and is currently living in a little herd of mares. She'll happily come into a stable for a fuss/grazing management. If you can offer Summer a home, please apply online.
Important stuff
Merau Haf (Summer) can never be ridden or driven.
All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Merau Haf (Summer) is not suitable to be worked.
History
Summer came into World Horse Welfare care following a request in September 2019 by the RSPCA asking if we could help. She was part of a welfare case and came in with eight other ponies.
