Meet Piglet

Piglet is ready to rehome as a companion. He is a lovely, friendly pony but can be a little wary at times, so is better suited to a home where he will be handled by adults only. He gets on well with others and is currently living out with a group of geldings, but will happily come into a stable to be fussed over. He shows a little too much interest in mares, so can only be turned out with geldings. He is good to catch, handle, and groom but due to his sensitive nature needs a quiet and calm handler. He is a really sweet boy and doesn't have a bad bone in his body. He is good for the vet and farrier but likes a quiet approach, treats always help too. Piglet doesn't like being left on his own, so it is important he has the company of another equine at all times. If you can offer Piglet a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Piglet can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Piglet is not suitable to be worked.

History

Piglet came into Penny Farm as part of a large welfare case. He was unhandled on arrival and very scared of human contact.
