Meet Fontelroy (Lord)

Fontelroy or Lord as he is known here at the farm is ready to find a new home as a companion pony. Lord is a striking black cob who certainly knows how handsome he is. He is very affectionate towards people and loves to come in for a pamper which can take a while as he has an impressive mane and tail to brush through. Lord unfortunately did not cope when brought into work due to lameness issues and behavioural changes. He is back to his usual happy self now he is out of work and will make a lovely addition to someone's herd as he is quite a character. Lord is still young so is very playful and cheeky with his field mates so would love other young ponies to keep him entertained. He is great fun and lovely to spend time with as he adores attention. Lord has a small sarcoid on his hind leg which hasn’t changed since being at Belwade Farm so it is something that will just need to be monitored. He is currently living out full time with a group of geldings and gets along very well with his field mates as he’s so sociable. As Lord is still young, he does like his companions and will become stressed if left alone in the field. Lord is unsuitable to live with mares but will happily live over the fence from them; he is an extremely good doer so would be best suited to other small ponies on restricted grazing. If you think you could offer this lovely cob a brilliant new home, please apply online.
