World equine disease prevention and control expert Dr Richard Newton from the Animal Health Trust, shared his knowledge on what the risk of infectious disease is to our UK horses and what steps we can take as owners and carers to reduce the risk of these diseases.
Richard was accompanied by Deputy Chief Executive and Director of UK Tony Tyler from World Horse Welfare who gave an insight into how we reduce the risk of infectious disease across our farms as well as sharing helpful tips and advice on some simple steps that all owners should take to keep their horses safe and healthy.
